Qui- surnames of Carcar

Qui- surnames of Carcar

I have 3 sources for Quijano. One from Bohol, Francisco Quijano (pre-Claveria name Francisco Ygnacio) married to Pelagia Lapiña (Ma. Pelagia) and had children baptized in the 1830s. A second line was from San Nicolas. And a third, a mestizo Sangley from Mandaue, originally spelled in the records as Quejano but subsequent ones of the family spell it Quijano.

Silverio Quilario was a cabeza de barangay as were two of his sons who were both cabezas in the 1860s.

Although I have apparently omitted the informations but I seem to recall that Quijon and Quijas were also from Bohol. My memory could be playing tricks on me, however, and I should have been more thorough in my notations.
